Code of conduct
So that everyone feels good on the dance floor.
Quiero Bailar is a space for sharing, learning and fun. Every member commits to contributing to a welcoming, kind and respectful atmosphere.
- Respect every dance partner, their body, their limits and their consent. Every dance takes place in comfort and mutual respect.
- Ask for or accept a dance with courtesy, and respect a refusal without insisting or judging.
- Be inclusive towards everyone, whatever their origin, gender, age, level, orientation, physical condition or experience.
- Honour the cultures at the origin of Latin dances, approaching them with curiosity, humility and respect.
- Encourage other dancers, especially beginners, and favour mutual help over competition.
- Be on time, follow the teachers’ instructions and help classes run smoothly.
- Take care of your hygiene, wear suitable clothes and respect the spaces, equipment and premises.
- Avoid any discriminatory, intimidating, inappropriate or violent behaviour, words or gestures. Any behaviour contrary to this charter may lead to a discussion with the school team and, if necessary, to appropriate measures to preserve a safe and pleasant setting for everyone.
To go further, read our terms and conditions, which contain the full charter of kindness and respect.
